Aftercare instructions have a habit of being long, generic and immediately forgotten. In practice a handful of things account for most of the difference between a result someone is happy with and one they aren't, and they're worth knowing before you book rather than after.
The first twenty-four hours do most of the work. For a lot of treatments — brow lamination, whitening — the area is still settling during that window, and what you do in it matters more than anything you do that week. That usually means leaving the area alone: no steam rooms, no swimming, no scrubbing, and for whitening, being careful about what you eat and drink. We'll tell you which of these apply to you.
Sun is the one that gets underestimated. On any treatment involving the skin, sun exposure on the treated area is the single most common thing that undoes careful work, and "it was cloudy" is not the protection people assume it is. If you're being treated somewhere that will be uncovered, plan for that.
Hands off. Picking, rubbing and "just checking" a treated area is instinctive and it is worth resisting. If something feels wrong rather than merely different, that's a reason to get in touch — not a reason to investigate it yourself.
And keep us posted. If your skin reacted differently than we expected, or something didn't settle the way it should, tell us before your next appointment rather than at it. That's the information that shapes what we do next, and it's far more useful early than late.
